Did I pay too much for re-wiring an entire house?
(See my previous question)
Found out previous owner was stealing electricity and once I took over an investment property, I have to re-wire the entire house and have BGE (Maryland electric company) put in a new meter and hook me up. So, it's a 1100 sq ft home and I re-wired the entire house, added three outside lights, a exterior socket all for $2,300. Yes, the price includes a new circuit breaker box and all supplies.
Good price or was I over charged?
Thanks all for the assurance! Check me out once in a while... I'm recording my progress here: http://www.myspace.com/flippinglatin

good freaking price i know it may seem steep but if they ran all new wires that price is good the wire alone copper would cost a 1,000 and the box 100 to 300 you got a good deal recommend these people to your friends
Source(s): have run over 10 miles of wire over the years and put in (lost count) a lot of circuit boxes - 1 decade ago
I live in ohio and that sounds like a good deal I deal with investment properties all the time and a company called Aey Electric who speciealize in re-wiring homes.
And the price you got seems like a good price from someone who knows what they are doing. Please remember the cheapiest price is not always the best price
