Any Wedding planners out there?

I would like to become a wedding planner, and would like to know how i would go about getting started. I had so much fun planning my own wedding, and would really like to do this.

I am 3 classes from my BS in Business Management, so education is not a problem, how do I get started? Any suggestions?

Thanks

I saw a course for wedding planners. It was being offered as a night class at a vocational school in the area. You could check it out if you wanted to become a certified wedding planner. I think one of the first things you would need to do is to network with businesses involved in weddings to get referrals. (photographers, florists, reception sites, etc.) You will probably need a business license and insurance. What if someone sues over something about the wedding? But I would think the first thing would be to find clients. You may want to start with friends and family so you have references to give new clients.

I consider a marriage ceremony planner might most commonly aid, however provided that you'll be able to have the funds for it. I have a $5000 finances for my marriage ceremony with approximately 220 visitors that we are inviting. There's no approach I might have the funds for $500 or extra for a planner. I consider that your first-rate guess is to determine your finances and your visitor record first. If your finances is $10,000 for one hundred visitors, opt for it. If you are like me, I'd bypass it.
