Why do my sinuses wreak havoc on my head when the weather changes?

Every fall and spring, once the weather changes, my sinuses start acting up. Why? Why do they do this to me? Nothing helps with the discomfort.

pollen and other allergens enter your nasal passages and your body recognizes them as foreign. In order to keep them from entering your bloodstream more mucus is produced to trap it and histamine is released to constrict airways and blood vessels to keep them out.

I am right there with you and have no real idea. I know that it is the same time that the levels of pollen and other allergens change but I think (at least for me) there's some connection to barometric pressure, too. I get killer headaches during times when the weather shifts rapidly or when storms are coming in... *shrug*
