Name a potpourri liquid and spray that will really make an older house smell good.?

I live in an older house and I hate the smell of the closets, cabinets, and bathrooms.

I'm not sure of a pot pourri but you could try adding some lavender drops to a very fine mist sprayer, trying not to make anything too damp.

Another idea is that vanilla wiped over surfaces in a fridge removes smells, you could try that around the house.

Small containers of bicarb in cupboards helps remove damp and therefore midewy or old smells.

Last but not least go chemical and use (not sure if you have it over there) a spray called Glen 20 - it does not cover up smells but actually removes odours and germs, I have it on hand all the time. It has quite a nice smell to it and once used, house smells do disappear.

Try leaving the cupboard doors open for awhile after treating them to let the air flow through.

there are different fragrances that you can add to paint that works well. I found some at menards not long ago.
