Does Islam incorporate witchcraft?

While researching the names applied to Allah by Islam, I came across a website that attempted to drop a file on my computer. The file was intercepted and destroyed by my security system, so for that reason I will not give a link.

According to the site, repeating each of the names a hundred times gives one special benefit, i.e. wealth, health, happiness, etc. Do Muslims today practice this as part of their belief system? Do Wiccans today recognize this as a craft or power?

Update:

I submit so others may be careful in their search. The site is holy-names.com and it drops the JS-Exploit-BS virus on any pc that is not protected. Please avoid it.

The site reports for the meanings of names:

Al-Mushiu: the Reckoner

Ya-Mushiu

He who is afraid of being questioned on the judgement day and repeats this Name 100 times will have easiness.

Al-Mubdiu:

Ya-Mubdiu

If this Name is repeated and on a pregnant woman who is afraid of abortion, she will be free of danger.

These are but a couple examples. What gives here? There is a book that was left out of the Bible because it was deemed an inappropriate writing. The age of a writing does not make it Biblical. This book made reference to a ritual that I have tied to what is written on this site. Your input would be most valuable to me in my studies.

it all comes from the prince of darkness and he does have some power if you let him

  • No,we don't practice witchcraft. The Qur'an speaks against it as being evil (2:102)-

2:102. They followed what the evil ones gave out (falsely) against the power of Solomon: the blasphemers Were, not Solomon, but the evil ones, teaching men Magic, and such things as came down at babylon to the angels Harut and Marut. But neither of these taught anyone (Such things) without saying: "We are only for trial; so do not blaspheme." They learned from them the means to sow discord between man and wife. But they could not thus harm anyone except by Allah.s permission. And they learned what harmed them, not what profited them. And they knew that the buyers of (magic) would have no share in the happiness of the Hereafter. And vile was the price for which they did sell their souls, if they but knew!

not all sites that are mentioned in the name of islam or even written by muslims considered correct , just like not all sites that claim to be related to health are correct.

islam doesn't allow witchcraft, believing in it means a muslim is not faithful anymore and has to renew his faith

we believe there are witches and witchcraft, we just shouldn't practice it or else we are not believers anymore

many people try to search for ways to make muslims love islam more although it may have nothing to do with islam, so we should refer to more accurate sites, like official sites from known scholars or organizations.

Depends on your definition of witchcraft.

Do you consider the Christian practice of prayer to achieve a specific end or healing by laying on of hands witchcraft?

"Magic" is a very real thing and the mechanisms that make it happen are very similar across different spiritual traditions.

    The repeating of a name...No

Wicca can incorporate any religion. Christian and their Enochian stylings and the Jewish and their Kabbalah.

I too would like to know if there is an off shoot in Islam.

no, but witchcraft is just like any other religion that projects positive thinking in ones psyche. However, i think they are more on materialism than spirituality.

Wiccans have totally seperate beliefs. Their Gods and Goddesses have nothing to do with Islam.

In Sufism, the idea of the 100th name is most prominent. It has become the elusive object of mystic devotion, the symbol of God's transcendent being.
