Homework help(for my 7 year old)?

I'm an adult and I don't get one of her homework q's : It say's:

The letters A,B,and D each stand for a different single digit. Use the clues to find the digits.

Clues:

. C is greater than 1. CA

.C is an odd number. + CB

.B and D are even numbers. = DC

What number does D stand for?

Thanks in advanced for any one who might know.

thats a pretty hard problem for a 7 year old.

and it doesnt even give you a variable for any of the letters.

    i think it means that

    CA + CB = DC

i'm not really sure if theres a way to solve it other than guess and check; plug in different numbers until it works.

    goodluck!
