I have crowns on my two front teeth. When I was younger, I broke them on a half pipe. They got bonded, and I broke them again on hard candy.
Anyway, its not gonna be too bad. I won't lie and say the grinding is pleasant, but take your iPod, and you'll get through it. They are gonna give you some Novocaine and laughing gas, so just sit back, listen to some tunes, and it'll be over before you know it...

You will be numb for the procedure and you shouldn't feel any actual pain if you do you should raise your hand and ask your dentist to give you more anesthetic. I shouldn't not be too bad it can be a little time consuming, it is always nice to take an ipod with you or maybe your dentist has a TV system you can watch. Good luck

The procedure doesn't hurt at all and it doesn't take long either. The only reason it would hurt is if a piece of your teeth was lodged in your gums (like mine was) then they have to give you a shot. Or if you need your teeth grinded down a bti.

You shouldn't feel any pain after the novacaine numbs your gums, just the pressure of the dentist working and fitting the temporary crown. They'll put on a temporary while the permanant one is being made.

I don't blame yuo. Dental work sicks. I won't lie. It will hurt. THe novicane shot is the worst in my opinion. After that, you should be ok. The grinding sounds bad though. Take some music!!

no, it shouldnt hurt. its a simple procedure. you may feel some discomfort, but no actual pain. you dentist will know how to handle it anyways as its a procedure they do all the time. dont worry, relax and everything will be just fine.
