If you put the card in a card reader it could have corrupted the card, if you where downloading straight from the camera and now are getting the message the image could also be corrupt. You can try www.z-a-recovery.com they have a free recovery software you can download.

You can recover deleted formatted pics videos and other files from olumpus D-580 digital camera memory card when computer says its raw format.

    1. Do not save any new file to digital camera memory card

    2. Take out memory card from digital camera, and then connect memory card to computer with a usb card reader.

    3. Download a camera recover software, recommended one is asoftech data recovery.

If you have Windows XP, Microsoft has a free RAW file viewer you can download here: https://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?F... Maybe that will help you to be able to see the files on the card. Adobe Bridge will also open RAW files. Your camera should come with software to convert the files for you. You may be able to download that from the Olympus website.

try & put the card in a Kodak kiosk at Wal-mart and see if you write the files to a cd. the Kodak kiosk have much better quality than the generic ones

Friendship, no it is not undesirable....my contacts merely this week helped me turn my head removed from the darkness and in the direction of the sunshine....it is not delusional in any respect, yet a fact.
