Where's Emily?? And Barbara's speech impediment??
Does anyone have the scoop on what happened to the actress who portrays Emily Stewart on "As The World Turns"? All I know is she left Oakdale after the Allison/Dusty Las Vegas Romp, but I'm curious as to whether or not the actress has left the show.
I'm also curious about what's happened to the actress who plays Barbara and why her speech has been affected.
Curious minds need to know.....

Kelley Menighan Hensley (Emily) should be back soon from her maternity leave. Colleen Zenk Pinter (Barbara) never took a leave of absence. So unless it was very mild, there's no way she could of had a stroke. Whatever it was it's a personal matter & has not been disclosed. Maybe she got her mouth wired or some other type of dental work that permanently alters your speak pattern.

I know that Emily left the show to have a baby and will be returning soon. I think I read sometime this month!
As far as the Barbara and her speech, I don't know. I did notice it too though.

Emily is coming back in October I think. Someone said that Barbara had a stroke.
