Canadian Christians' turn..?
Let's say you are sitting on a bus stop bench, reading
The Bible. A tall, slim man in a long white robe and
sandals, with long hair and a beard walks up to you
and, seeing what you're reading, says to you: "I see
that you are at peace, my dear friend. You know my
name. And, lo... I am at peace, too, knowing that.
"You have a good heart. God bless you..."
(And, just before this man walks away, he correctly
speaks your name.)
What would your immediate reaction be?
I posted this question in the US section, yesterday eve.
I pointed out that I'm not trying to mock Christianity. I'm
just interested in knowing:
1) If you are sure that the second-coming of Jesus is an
eventuality, what would it take to convince you that of that
happening?
2) How would you perceive any sort of mysteriously un-
explainable event?
Thanks, in advance, for all of your answers!
Peace.

Well, its not likely to happen that way. The Angels said when Jesus was taken up to Heaven after his resurrection "why stand you looking up ? This same Jesus will return again in a similar way" - so we expect Him to come back through the clouds ....... Acts 1 : 9 ....... To take those who BELIEVE in Him back to HEAVEN with Him.

I would think to myself, who is this "nut" ! Jesus Christ said, that ALL eyes (of the living) will see Him when He returns to this earth. Also, He will come [return] in the clouds. It has been stated, that Jesus never had "long hair" because He [Jesus] had to be identified by a "kiss" from Judas Iscariot, in among a crowd.
