any wild gardens in California?

I have a project for school and I wanted to take some pictures of wild gardens. I live in California, so it would be more convient to take pictures here. Any ideas to where I can go?

    I know a wonderful site that I use for California native plants--which is wild gardening. It's called the Theodore Payne Foundation. http://www.theodorepayne.org/

    Also try the California Native Plant Society - wildflowers, shrubs, and trees--CNPS. I use these to do articles for a Master Gardener newsletter. http://www.cnps.org/

    Sierra Azul Nursery in Watsonville has a wonderful native plant garden and so does Native Revival Nursery in Aptos.
