well, i've heard hours and hours of proponents and opponents of global warming and from my best understanding it doesn't mean a consistent warming all over the planet from now on except in a general way....but within the general warming pattern there are to be extremes in weather conditions, extremes and in not usual locations, etc.....it could even lead to another ice age in one theory....so it's a more complicated issue than it is usually treated when it's talked about

and i don't think the mainstream media has really covered adequately the different aspects of global warming so that everyone understands better, but i hope this has been helpful

And it is going to be like 10 degrees above normal in NC this weekend And only a few days ago did we have below normal temperatures for the first time in like at least six weeks.

That is why it is called GLOBAL warming and not California Warming.

I should point out that I don't mean to imply that the hot streak we had was due to global warming, just that a couple weeks worth of weather in one part of the globe does not give the whole picture.

Sir, you're talking about weather, not climate. Just because it cools up in California doesn't mean that the whole world is cooling up too. Average temperature anomalies have steadily gone up. And for your information, we just broke a new record today. It is official today that we have record low ice in Arctic, only 1 million sq miles left. Last record was broken in 2005 when there was only 1.5 million miles of ice left. Go on the link that i have posted on the bottom, you'll know that my facts are right, it is the reputable yahoo news. Anyway, in two years we lost 500,000 miles sq of ice, and i don't think that anything but the warming can cause the ice to melt that quick. Also, now there is a totally ice-free passage across northern Alaska, Canada and Greenland.

hope you understand the truth that climate change is real.

You're referring to weather, not climate. Weather is always changing and can only be predicted a couple days out, and is not very accurate.

Climate is always warming, can accurately be forecast 100 years out very, very precisely.

Anything you can see and experience is weather. Only climatologist can see the climate.
