Do you know the abuse team and the answers teams don't work together?
If you get an e-mail from another Answers user, and it is abusive, stupid, otherwise unwanted, you can use abuse@yahoo, just like any other e-mail. If you don't send headers, they request them. This is dumb, because the e-mail is forwarded through yahoo, and the headers reflect that. So you send the headers, and they send you information on how to block the user. Whooped-ding, if the user changes identity, he just e-mails you again. When you complain, they ask for headers again, and tell you how to block the user, but they do nothing else, and they don't seem to understand it is not enough! My question is, has anybody else experienced the same runaround, and, if so, what were you able to do about it?

It's probably just that so many people have the same problem. There are weirdos on here as well as the genuine users. I haven't had the problem myself, because I took prreventive action - I can't be e-mailed. You could do the same and make your profile and 360 private, then set up a second account which can be used for e-mail purposes, which is known to you and your friends only. I don't think a public e-mail address is a good thing.

Hi,
If you have a problem with users on Answers emailing you, you can block them or make your profile private. You can email me if things continue and hopefully I will be able to assist you.
Thanks,
Steph
