Regarding body language?
In a crowded public place i.e. a bar or a shopping mall, are there any tell tale signs that indicate that an individual may be violent or unstable, apart from the blindingly obvious one of shouting, intoxication or overt agression. This is a serious question, please respond accordingly.

A significant cluster of body movements is used to signal aggression.
Facial signals - aggression can be shown in the face, from disapproving frowns and pursed lips to sneers and full snarls. The eyes can be used to stare and hold the gaze for long period. They may also squint, preventing the other person seeing where you are looking.
Attack signals - when somebody is about to attack, they give visual signal such as clenching of fists ready to strike and lowering and spreading of the body for stability. They are also likely to give anger signs such as redness of the face.
Large gestures - The size of gestures may also be used to signal levels of aggression, from simple finger movements to whole arm sweeps, sometimes even with exaggerated movements of the entire body.
Hope that helps

Some signs include abrupt, rapid gesticulation, usually intense staring (as opposed to shifting eyes, which denote guilt, nervousness, or general anxiety). If you're engaged in conversation, forceful language (not volume, but tone). Also, consider how those closest to the individual respond. If they look wary, steer clear. Hope this helps!

Some people are agressive in their manners. They're physcial bullies. You either stand up to one or get out of their way. I would choose to revert to another area and get away from someone like this. No need for confrontation...just move away.

in case you sense such as you're being boastful, then your physique language will portray that hesitation. only quite cocky human beings look cocky. you have to be helpful to look helpful. understand your posture, yet do not sweat the type you come again for the period of. the superb physique language is organic. something forced is plenty too obvious.

Disregard of other peoples' personal space, direct eye contact. If you are close enough to see their face, red face, pulsing temple, clenched fists, white knuckles.

That's a crazy question, I'd be worried about those shifty characters, ones that don't look you in the eye and skulk about nervously.
