Lincoln Park Zoo is really nice and it's free. You have to pay to park but if you walk in its free. They have a petting zoo and it's right off the Lake. We got there and then walk the lake front. Also the Musueum of Science and Industry have a kids section where they can touch things and play.

I live here and to tell you with a kid this age you should go to eather six flags or the Wisconsin Dells, largesr water parks in the US which is about an hour away. Also there is a Botanical garden in Northbrook, very pretty, and a free ZOO. Don't spend money on the Ferris wheel, it goes around once and before you know it is over and 5 bucks a person, it is a rip off. There is also Rainforest restaurant with some fish tanks and animals in terrariums, nice for kids to see while they eat. Good luck.

Navy Pier is always a good place to start. There's the Children's Museum-- it has a special room with activities specifically for toddlers. NP also has a few outdoor rides a toddler might like, such as the Merry-go-round and the Ferris Wheel (if you're not afraid of heights).

I have two young boys and they love the Children's Museum at Navy Pier. They get to play all they want in the museum, they got lots to do, then we go down to eat and then walk around the pier and see the boats and water. they love it.

They also love the zoo. That you can take them anywhere and go do.

There is the children's theater. she might like that. i haven't been to that yet, but i heard great things.

My boys loved the aquarium. They have different shows to see and they can even see a 3-d show.

Check out the site i put they will help a lot. Good Luck!
