My boss had DirecTv installed but the box is through a door and he doesnt get a signal to the remote to change the channel. He told me to get a repeater, but I have no idea what this is. Can someone help me with this and what I need to purchase.

I need some ideas for foods and games. For kids ages 3-7. Birthday girl is turning 3. Any ideas are welcome!

My daughter who is 3 woke up at 4AM screaming for me because of a bad dream. I asked her what her dream was about and she told me Monsters chasing her. She's pretty crabby now because of the lack of sleep, but our neighbor next door was in a pinch for a baby sitter this morning. She told us her 5 and 6 year olds both woke up at 4AM with a bad dreams about a Monster Chasing them and my daughter. Is it possible they could have been in the same dream together?

My husband and I would like to go out more. Our parents live far away and so do our siblings. Most of our friends are out of state. How do you go about finding a responsible / reliable babysitter to take care of your child. I dont have too many people I can ask and I don't want to trust some John or Jane Doe with my 2 year old child. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Since I had my child, my hair hasnt grown. Or at least not as much as it used to. I cut my hair short last year and its still short. I want it to grow longer and its driving me crazy. How do you get it to grow faster?

My MIL refers to my daughter as "little person". I think she thinks this is a term of endearment, but it sounds so condescending. I have brought it up to my husband and he sees now how irritiating it is. Is there a good way to bring this up with the MIL? She even has my FIL saying it now too. I find it odd that anyone would say... Hello little person, how's my little person. Just sounds so... unpersonal. My daughter is almost 2 so she has been doing this since she was born. Give me your opinions on this and ways to help us talk to his mom about this. Isnt it the same thing as if we were to call her "Old Lady"?

I mean my husband works a lot (i have a full time job and make more than him) his day off is a random tue or wed. I have my daughter every night and on the weekends. He will go out with his friends and get a chance to unwind while I'm pulling my hair out with our toddler. I dont get a chance to unwind myself ever. Even on his days off I take her to daycare because he wants to catch up on his sleep. How fair is that?
