Is it possible to fall in love on the net, when your chatting?

First, of course you can fall in love on the Internet when you're chatting - I did.

Second, and more important, is the question if you can find durable love on the Internet - again it's a sure yes. I met my wife (living more than 5000 miles away!) there, and now we live in a happy marriage since a couple of years and have a wonderful daughter together.

Third, and even more important, is the question if this way of finding love is a good way. This time I have to give a mixed answer. My personal experiences are very good, BUT I have heard so many stories (also first-hand) about people (especially girls) who had really great trouble because of love they found (or thought they found) on the Internet. So, I sure have to encourage everyone looking for (or just happening to find) love on the Internet to be really careful, and very carefully check out who you're really chatting with, and what might really be his (/her) intentions. Many, many people. especially men but certainly also women, are just playing games, which you sometimes don't realize before you think you're deep into a promising relationship.

It is possible. Nowadays more and more ppl rather meet ppl on the net. That way nothing is hidden from who you really are. However, make sure the site that you're meeting ppl with is measure up to your standards.

I can give you only my story. I met my husband on Yahoo! personals. He lived 2 towns away from me. We met 4 months after chatting together with video. We got engaged 3 months later and got married 4 months afterwards. After almost 4 years of marriage we are still happy and have 2 beautiful daughters.
