What are some performing arts schools? Is there a website that could help me out?

I'm kind of looking for one of those actual school schools that does the regular required basic subjects for students(such as social studies, english, etc.) but has an emphasis on the performing arts (musicians, actresses, dancers, etc.) for serious performers-in-training. I myself mostly act in drama, but I like singing and lyricwriting too. Anywhere, preferably in washington state, but honestly anything you know is fine. I'm just really curious as to see what there is.

Sounds like you want a University as opposed to a conservatory school. The best way to find the school that fits you is to visit them. Start with state schools in Washington and the surrounding area. They will probably have a day for visitors to come check them out, but try to get a private appointment. You will be more likely to see what the school is really like - when they aren't trying to impress future students. You might also look at Bachelor of Art programs, because they are more comprehensive.
