I applied for a part time job a few weeks ago at a couple of places, two of them being movie theaters. One of them is AMC and the other is Cinemark... I had an interview for each already and have moved on to the next 'section' of interviewing. One of them will be Thursday and the other Saturday... but I'm afraid if I get both offers that I don't know which I'll turn down? The managers both liked me, and I'm pretty sure they're both hiring because of the holidays coming up so I'm not worried about getting hired.. I'm just not sure which I'd pick! They're both about the same driving distance and pay, but I don't know which one has more flexible hours (something I'd need, quite honestly) and other factors. Has anyone worked for either of these companies? What were the pros and cons, and did you get a say over your schedule and shifts?

I think I like the environment at AMC better but Cinemark might be easier to schedule shifts with, I'm just really unsure.

how did it happen??? they were perfectly happy, or so i thought. they still had lightning bolts on there names and nothing seemed different. i read somewhere that if you dont keep up the bride and groom-to-be's relationship, then thats what happens. is there anything else that causes it? i think that might be my case but im not sure. if so, then how do i fix it? do i just make sure there relationship is good before they get married?

im a little disappointed in nickelodeon... their show schedule kind of sucks lately. it seems all they ever show now is icarly, spongebob, and that stupid madagascar penguins show... i mean, i like the first two but come on! its on like 24/7.

And i'm disappointed that nick never shows H2O anymore. Has anyone else noticed this? It's making me a little crazy, I'm like obsessed with that show. Sometimes I wish i lived in Australia cuz at least they still show it there! Did they cancel it or something?

Nick got kind of annoying. They are getting really repetitive AND they never show the classic shows anymore, and their movies are getting more stupid by the minute(spectacular- I wanted to burn my eyes out). Plus they don't even do teenick anymore!

Don't even get me started on Disney...

I have a honda crv ex-l model, its pretty new. I think its supposed to be able to play mp3 players but i cant figure out how to do it. Help?

PS: I already read the owners manual. it says theres a jack in the compartment behind the cupholders but it doesnt work... it says to push the "AUX" button but I cant find that either!

My dad doesn't mind me switching to public. Its my mom that's the problem. Both of my parents are christian but my mom is pretty hardcore and really strict about it. She tells me she doesn't want me "immersed in ungodly influences". I think she thinks by putting me at a private christian school im in some sort of bubble, which is so not true. the stuff people do at my school is just as bad as public, people are just better at keeping secrets. I want to go to a public school because

A) my parents always gripe about money. we'd have more if we weren't wasting it on private school.

B) i'm sick of all the rules. ive heard that its not so bad at public schools. The teachers are like prison wardens at my school.

C) there is zero individuality. we aren't allowed to color our hair unnatural colors. ive always wanted blue bangs tho, haha.

D) UNIFORMS. i HATE them. they make us all look like nuns and deacons.

E) the people. i hate to say it, but over half of the people at my school are stuffy, uptight, spoiled brats. and they make fun of you if you aren't them.

ps: i realize this is loooooong. but im sick of private school. and my mom just wont budge. i feel like a dog on a leash sometimes.

so basically, i need to know how to convince her. its hard to talk to her because she never seems to listen.

I'm emo now, and my old friends are really mad at me. I don't really care about all of them, but there is this one preppy guy whose a football player who totally hates emos, and we used to be friends. But now that I'm emo with new friends, he says I scare him(new eyemakeup, basically). I don't want to give up my new friends but I really like my other guy friend and it's really hurting me to pick between the two. I really need advice on this. Help?

Okay, well, I just got my computer cleaned and fixed and stuff. And when I tried to re-install iTunes on my computer, that worked fine, but then there was nothing there. No music, video, nothing. I'm technically challenged and I can't figure out how to get my contents back on there? It's really frustrating me; I just got a gift card I want to use but I'm afraid to until I get this thing out of the way.

Ok, I can't do anything. It probably sounds childish, but I was bored and I was googling stuff, and this game came up. And I started to play, and it's starting to drive me nuts! I've gotten a video clip where this one chick is going "I'm really really fine!" (n she breaks off the head of this person-looking trinket thing) and there's another girl next to her in a blue wig. HOW THE HECK IS THAT SUPPOSED TO HELP????

I can't find any "clues" at all, either. It's really driving me insane!!!

In some pictures it looks blue, then gray, then I've got online sites telling me it's brown.

Okay, no, I am not an obsessed fangirl. But it's an important detail to a story I'm writing.

I find it very exciting, but I'm not sure if I'm short enough. I am almost 5ft5". And also, is there some sort of weight minimum? This is probably just out of pure curiousity, but still.

please don't answer if you don't know. It's a question in my science notes, but I dripped coffee on it... it looks like:

it was only a drop of coffee, so that was the only word smudged, and plus most of it got on my desk.

I'm kind of looking for one of those actual school schools that does the regular required basic subjects for students(such as social studies, english, etc.) but has an emphasis on the performing arts (musicians, actresses, dancers, etc.) for serious performers-in-training. I myself mostly act in drama, but I like singing and lyricwriting too. Anywhere, preferably in washington state, but honestly anything you know is fine. I'm just really curious as to see what there is.

My best friend has got a curvy body, and she's 10 pounds overweight, but she's freaked out all the time, counting calories and making sure she get's enough exercise. I've got a curvy body too, but I'm fine weightwise. She calls herself ugly and unnatractive, but I know a guy who has a thing for her. The popular jerkettes love to make fun of people, and she's one of they're favorites. She literally fell asleep crying when I stayed for the night at her house. The people at our school are awful, and sometimes I feel like kicking their a*s. It makes me sick how people are so obsessed with being thin.

I'm writing a story project for school, and I need a good city, preferably in California or Florida.

It has to be somewhere where you could put a ranch, but has to have citylife too, close enough to go to school.

I just got a new phone, I downloaded a few new ringtones, and the sound completely sucks! you can bearly hear it. My other phone was much louder than this. I'm wondering if it has to do with the speakers on the phone or the thing where you have to wait 24 hours until you use your phone? someone help me, I am really pissed off at this.
