Is anybody else sick of all this stupid skinny hype that's going on?
My best friend has got a curvy body, and she's 10 pounds overweight, but she's freaked out all the time, counting calories and making sure she get's enough exercise. I've got a curvy body too, but I'm fine weightwise. She calls herself ugly and unnatractive, but I know a guy who has a thing for her. The popular jerkettes love to make fun of people, and she's one of they're favorites. She literally fell asleep crying when I stayed for the night at her house. The people at our school are awful, and sometimes I feel like kicking their a*s. It makes me sick how people are so obsessed with being thin.

Sounds like you have a very different opinion than your friend. What matters now, is that you are there for her and help her through this. 1. Tell her she is beautiful, even if she argues. 2. Help her get a positive role model who she believes to be beautiful that is not a "skinny minny"
**She needs to know that Guys don't like the anorexic looking type! They love curves!! When she understands that and embraces who she is instead of criticizing herself. It won't matter what those other girls say. Fact is...they're actually probably jealous of the C-cup they don't have!

Most of American is overweight... but that doesn't mean ALL of America is.
They are saying people are fat, when they clearly aren't. I have a co-worker who has an awsome body but says she's fat all the time.
It's also a money taking experiment. More than likely the pills wont work, and if they do, you have to keep taking them to keep the weight off.
I however, am skinny. I have been called anorexic, and people make a big deal about how skinny I am. But I am in no way anorexic, or bullemic, it's just how the public makes judgement about other people.
Maybe if people should start worrying about other things, and not being obsessed with being thin, they would be HAPPY WITH THEIR OWN BODIES, and stop doing horrific diet fads.

are u in highschool?? because highschool kids like to make fun of people that dont look a certain way in genneral, not just weightwise and its an immaturity thing that either of you will rarellyy come across after highschool years.. so just tell the jerks to f off

im not exactlyy over weight or that much curvy but ik how your friend feels. just tell her how you think shes not ugly & that she should feel okay with her body because it could be much worse and if the girls dont stop confront them ,usually they only make fun of other people to make themselves feel good

yep...i agree....men prefer curves and no guy likes stick straight women....now when a guy falls in love with a girl...well, for the most part, she's the most beautiful girl in the world to him!
