math problem truble.....HELP!!!?

what does 1/4+2+3+4 equal???

    add them step by step

    1 / 4 + 2 =1 / 4+8 / 4= 9 / 4 (=2.25)

    9 / 4 + 3 = 9 / 4 +12 / 4= 21 / 4 (=5.25)

    21 / 4 + 4 = 21 / 4 +16 / 4 = 37 / 4 (=9.25)

    For any problem solve it step by step and make sure for each step before go to the next one.

    what i would do is 2+3+4 which equals :9 then 9+1/4...if you don't know how to add fractions change it to a decimal. so... 9+.25 =9 1/4
