If my Vonage router died, can I use any other router to replace it?

...Or does it have to specifically be a "voip adaptor" style router? Because we do have an extra router laying around, but it doesn't have a phone jack, just ethernet outputs- we thought there would be such a thing as a little ethernet-to-phone adaptor for like $5 at RadioShack... Does such a thing exist? Or do we have to have to have a specific type of equipment? Thanks!

a pair of answerer's stated call Vonage, and tell them to deliver you a sparkling one. i'm only curious, because of the fact i've got had Vonage now for 4 months...is the router unfastened in case you call or do you pay?
