What can I do to give myself an extra boost of energy each night before class ???
I work prt. time and go to night school... By the time I get to school @ 5pm, I am like a zomby !!!
What's worst is that starting in Oct. I will be starting another class every Tues. & Thurs. I realllllly need to know if there are any energy boosters out there that can help me get through the night classes... thankx :)

I have found it helpful when going to evening classes to have before the class and even through out the day to eat a small apple or grapes. Any type of fruit will give you natural sugar without giving a really high boost and then sucking you out to dry. Fruit keeps you stable through out the day and when you get into class, carry a water bottle and take some small snacks that are healthy like some reduced fat cinnamon-sugar graham crackers, to slowly munch on during class.

If you can sneak in a nap sometime during the day, it makes all the difference in the world. Just fifteen minutes of true sleep is what it takes. I do mine after lunch. It means I'm alert at all hours of the day and even into the evening. I'm never a zombie on days I get my nap in. All my hours are alert hours.
Caffein or anything from a bottle won't even come close. Perhaps a bit of exercise might help you, but frankly, although I do enjoy exercise, nothing beats the nap for keeping me alert.

I lived the same situation..
Take a little nap during lunch time, as the previous answerer suggested.. it is true it does make a difference..
Before your class, make sure you eat something.. a snack or your food.. You could also drink a coffee or tea before your class.. Anyways, this is what i used to do.. Good luck! :-)

Try lucozade - I've heard that it is the only energy drink that has more caffine than a cup of coffee!!

if its me i would love to have a cup of coffee...haha...starbuck or kopitiam...its still the same...as long as its coffee
