That is called tinnitus, you need to go to see a ENT and have your ears checked out. That is the hearing problem and then you will have vertigo , when you turn you'll feel dizzy and sometimes when your walking you'll find yourself walking like a long hall you'll end up not where you started but further over to either side. I have to wear a Cholear Implant because of nerve deafness, so be sure and get your ears checked out not at a hearing aid place a ENT Specialist. Your left ear may just be stopped up with ear wax, they some medicine with a small plunger you put the medicine and clean your ear out , I hope that is all it is because to wear hearing device is really nerve wreaking,

You should see a doctor right away. It is possible that a bird has flown into your ear and is chirping (the strange sounds) and that maybe the reason you have not been hearing as well out of this ear is because the bird is possibly blocking sound out. I have had the same type of problem, however, in my case an alligator jumped into my ear. I had the same type of symptoms and until i went to the doctor, I was tottally iunaware of the alligator that was habitating inside my ear. Good luck!

    ah I have this too.

well..do You have ringing in your ears.. sometimes louder.. sometimes softer.. some sounds you can hardly hear, while others seem to blast... and sometimes like a pressure feeling. do they pop sometimes?

I have all that.. and i also hear less.. happens more with my right then my left.. but i seem to have it in both.

I also have spells.. loss of vertigo.like standing on the edge of a building.... really watery like nausea mouth, and complete nausea feeling, as well as complete deafness in both ears or can hardly hear anythign at all.. bad tunnel vision and i feel like my blood pressure is dropping as well, like i'll pass out. all lasting for about 5-40 minutes.. and comes whenever the hell it wants to!

had it ever since i was little... but its gotten worse over time.

From what ive read... its something like.. Mineres Disease.

Could be an infection and or congenital defect,
