The Koran denies that Jesus was the son of God( 2:110, 9:30, 17:110, 19:30, 23:91). They deny that Jesus was crucified (4:157).

Please do not convert to Islam until you have examined it very, very closely. You need to read the hadith as well as the Koran, for the hadith, especially Tabari, put the Koran into perspective and context of muhammed's time.

You will read many beautiful things in the Koran. You will also read of many vile things. Do not lose sight that Lucifer was the angel of light, and the master of lies. He will make his message seem very beautiful, very alluring, and very attractive to you. Use our faith and the words of Jesus to strip away the sugar coating and see Islam the way it really formed.

The Muslims will tell you that YHWH and Allah are the same. If you know your Bible well enough to feel you undertsand YHWH, you will recognize that Allah is not the same being. I have recognized Allah from the Bible, by his works and by his words, and it is not YHWH.

Remember that most of Muhammed's own contemporaries rejected him, as did all of the Jews inwhich he came in contact.

Most of the Islamic traditions that they claim corellate with the Bible are obviously a misunderstood interpretation of an illiterate who heard bits and pieces of biblical stories, without really understanding what he heard, and then regurgitated them as best he could to try and cloth himslef in a veil of legitimacy to the group he was trying to court to follow him. Most Muslims who I have met who say this is not so have not read the bible, and couldn't lay hands on a Bible if they wanted to.

The Quran denies jesus is God. He is nor the son of God. Quran says Jesus is a Prophet or messenger. Quran also says that Jesus was saved from crucifixion.

Its a core issue in Islam the relationship with Allah "God" Its called individualism in the west now days. The relationship with Allah is not a collective process each individual have a direct relationship with God un like the early Christians" Catholics" who believe the relationship must start with Jesus "PUOH" and the pop and the rest of the Church order. In Islam no one can save you but God himself and you are free to call up on God any time you want to you do not need a Church order to do it. The protestants got this point from Islam and they never said thank you.

YHWH is the proper name of G-d.

If you read Genesis, you will see the Truth.

G-d made his covenant with Isaac. NOT with Ishmael.

The L-rd blessed Ishmael, but his covenant was not with him.

First of all you are right, Jesus Christ is a Prophet like Prophet Muhammed in Islam who bought the exact same message. The only difference it Jesus Christ(PBUH) did not write the Bible. We as Muslims believe majority of bible is correct but some parts are made up because of Human error including Jesus dying for our sins. We muslims dont believe in original Sin either. I would suggest that you first consider that maybe it isn't a religion you're looking for but instead you may want a way of life which is what Islam is. Islam is a 'deen' which translates to a way of life instead of a religion. Prayer five times a day isn't dogma but is instead a way to focus on your submission to Allah. Secondly, visit a Mosque or Islamic center, talk to the prayer leader or Imam.

I won't comment on Jesus except to say that Muslims consider Jesus in high regard. Islam is a peaceful religion and Allah blesses those who submit to Him with peace.

At first… Quran don't discuss Jesus dying for our sins…we don't believe in the original sin…( Adam's sin is for him not for me)…we'll be asked for our sins not others.

You know very well how much we appreciate and love Jesus (PBUH)…but no…neither Jesus nor Muhammad died for our sins…

About the relation with Allah ..it's directly…

I'll not give you a lot of Ayas (chapter of Quran) because you know them but you have know that Allah say 2-186

Only ask your god in sincerity and truth and Allah will answer…

No need to any prophet or angel…no monk, no priest or pope…

And it's the most point that I appreciate in Islam….you have directly connection with Allah…if you have a sin don't ask priest or even Jesus to forgive you…only ask your god who me, you, Jesus, and Muhammad are slaves for him.

Now..in this moment you can ask Allah to guide you, to help you…..but remember in sincerity and truth…and Allah will help you….but you have to trust him..

To understand it…I'll make small comparison with Christianity

In Christianity you have the original sin, Jesus died for ir and for your own sins…if you want to connect Allah you need a help from priest

In Islam…you have only your own sin….nobody can help you except your self, no one died for other sins 17-15

You can connect Allah directly without help…and you ask him the forgiveness and Allah will forgive you

thank you for asking the questions.. i as a Muslim will try to answer your questions. however, there are few things need to be made clear in answering your questions. i do aware that Christians believe that Jesus is God's son. however, my question here is, on what base and arguments, thus proofs that say Jesus is God's son. may i know the book, chapter, and verses that clearly define that Jesus is God's son?

in Quran, Allah has never mentioned anything about Jesus redeems for the Christians' sins. thus, He has never said anything that anybody could redeem or suffer for others' sins. what is revealed in the revelation is that, everyone is responsible for one's doing. if it's the sins, they would be made responsible for that. if it's the good deeds, Allah shall give the equivalent return accordingly.

since you husband is a Muslim, you may ask him to recite the Quran and find the translation of these verses;

al-Baqarah (2) verse 123; this verses states that on the Day of Judgement, no one will be able to expiate others' sins and no one will be able to take good deeds performed by others, thus everyone is punished and rewarded accordingly.

al-Baqarah (2) verse 286; this verse proves that every action whether it is bad or good will be rewarded accordingly.

al-Ankabut (29) verse 6; al-Isra' (17) verse 15; an-Najm (53) verse 38-39; Yasin (36) verse 54; and Luqman (31) verse 33.

in Islam, there are so many ways to reach and have relationship with Allah. it is stated in the Quran. we do not need to have a relationship with Allah through anything. we can have the relationship straight away to him. Allah said in Holy Quran that on having a relationship with Allah, it is by saying the prayer for He shall answer your prayer (al-Ghafir (40) verse 60). from this verse, it is understood, we do not need something or someone to have relationship with Him. because him alone listen to your prayer. performing the prayer (solah) also is one of the way of reaching Him. solah literally means prayer because when you pray, you recite the Quranic verses. the verses are the prayers to Allah and He responses to each verse you read. there are more ways of engaging in relationship with Allah.

God is not a thing or person to have a relationship with in the earthly sense, according to Islam.

Because you cannot see Him, hear Him or talk to him like you would to a normal person.

The Quran does not say Jesus died for our sins. Jesus was hated by the society he lived in. God did not allow His holy man to be killed on the hands of the disbelievers. Because God is powerful and merciful.

How do we have a relationship with God in Islam?

By remembering this: 'He is closer to you than your jugular vein'

He sees us. Hears us. Knows us better than anyone or anything and is ALWAYS with us. He doesnt die and He needs not rest.

We are always in His gaze. We have a tie to God whether we like it or not. Some chose to ignore this connection and some dont :)

Allaah says in the Quran, numerous time, that this message, and the messenger are all but reminders.

What does He mean by that?

Reminding us, of our tie to Him. That we owe Him this acknowledgement of the tie that binds us to Him. And to worship Him in the most sincere way. This is the road to happiness, to aknowledge our tie to the Great One. Our Lord. Our Creator. The Source of All.

You can have a direct intamate (if I may call it) relation with God. Just like the people who had lived before the time of Jesus.

The Quran tells that Jesus was a great man, who came with a great message from God. Just like Moses, Abraham, & Noah.

In the Quran it says that God is so close to us. He hears all of us and can answer our prayers. He is the most mercyful & most generous. We don't need a go between.
