I'm thinking of getting a Senegal parrot in the near future. Any suggestions on a name?

I'll consider anything EXCEPT Gary Busey.

I was thinking George or Fred, but would prefer something a little more creative.

Thanks.

Update:

Dani, I have a green cheek. Awesome birds! Your name suggestions are cool, thanks!

I don't have many name suggestions, I am a strong believer that a name will come to you after having a pet for a bit.

I just have to warn you about Senegal's. They are not the same as a conure. We have a female that we got after she flew into our yard about 15+ years ago. They tend to bond with one person (as do most parrots) but they are known for their aggression with others. They can be very Territorial. Don't get me wrong I love my little girl but she does attack anyone who goes near her cage or the one she has bonded with. They are small and a lot of people find that desirable but they are also loud so if you live in an apartment your neighbors may mind the noise. One funny quark is they tend to take a bath on the coldest day of the year. This can be bad if they get chilled after. Just thought I would pass on some unwanted info. I would do some research first. Good luck:)

  • Why Senegal? They speak French, so I'd guess their birds would, too. I think I'm right in assuming The Nolt doesn't speak the French. So, how in the hell would you get the bird to run up in a store to snatch some smokes or chips or beef jerky or something? Shooters, even?

    Hand signs? Nolt ain't Eyetalian.

you will become uninterested in seeing it spelled incorrect. you will tire of spelling it while the desire arises (like on the vets). you would be asked with the aid of persons the thank you to pronounce it and spell it numerous circumstances as quickly as they hear it. completely valid request for information even though it is going to placed on skinny for you after a whilst. Too on the factor of the be conscious schmuck for my convenience. human beings will mispronounce it (accidentally) or maybe some will say, "whats up, do you be attentive to Schmeckers & the schmuck who owns him?" think of of a few thing undemanding that the chook will rejoice with listening to and saying. Did you spot that YA spell examine even exhibits the be conscious Schmucks for that call? do not do it guy. i'm basically say'n.

I have had one for about 6 months. If I could rename him it would either be Jaws or Screech.
