Yep, the Beatles could have gone on to give us lots of great songs, but it was not meant to be. Although we did have some good gems from the band members individually after they broke up.

beatles cannot be compared to the rolling stones. the beatles were and are today an icon who despite not being a group anymore are one of the best selling acts of all time.

They had always generated more interest, anyway...
You never hear about anyone interviewing Bianca or Jerry Hall, but Yoko's always in the front-line about her late husband and his cohorts and their accomplishments.
