has anyone taken a HPT after being a week or more late for your period,the test show neg,?
then went to get a blood test soon after and it showed positive? details please. I cant see a doctor until Monday and i have all the symptoms.

HPT's generally read positive a few days BEFORE you period is supposed to come. So if you are a week late and it shows neg then it's probably right.

A blood test is always more accurate than a hpt. I know of woman who were pregnant but had the hpt coming out negative. And when they went to the ER and took a blood test well positive it did.
And the woman I'm talking about was 4 months pregnant.
So anything's posible!

dont waste your money on HPTs just go take it blood test they are more accurate.
