the movie was really bad. the book was much better. in the book, she goes to finishing school, with hattie and olive. that's where they find out about her. she runs away, and along the way goes through an elf forest. they give her food and things to sell, and some horses. she gets caught by ogres, and she talks to them to let them go. she can speak lots of different languages, learned from birds. her mom died because they were both sick, and there was a soup to make them better. the mom didn't eat it all, and ella did. that's why she died. for the wedding, ella was locked in a room, and hattie took her place. char found out, and demanded to see her. she was free from her spell, char's parents were still alive.

Honestly, I hated the movie. the book is WAY better.

In the movie, it is more focused on modern ways placed into medieval times really. But, in the book, it brings you back to the fairytales you read as a child.

There was a line in the book that said,

"A few minutes ago, I was too young to marry you. But, now I feel I am old enough."

or...something to that affect. I thought they would at least keep the whole plot together for Anne Hathaway to say it, because it was just a whole Princess Diaries moment, but they barely kept the same plot.

Please read the book before you see the movie!
