Best Answer?
Okay, I have to ask this, cause it seems to be happening alot lately. Someone will post a question, asking for instance, to give them the name of a movie. That person will receive sometimes two answers, sometimes more, all identical, but will not choose the first answer as Best Answer, why is that?
Now mind you, no answer had any more information than the other answers.
I kind of feel like it is a slap in the face to the person who had the correct answer and answered first. After that first person answered, anybody could just copy them.
Smells really fishy to me.
Makes me not want to bother.
This happen to you often?
Not choosing any Best Answer is one thing, but choosing an answer that is Identical to an answer given prior is very irritating. I think if the answers are identical, you should reward the person who answered first.
Indu... Not specifically about you. I over reacted, but what i described happened several times that day alone, not just from your answer, but from others as well. Sorry if you felt the spotlight was on you.

I can see this about me. and im sorry you had to blog about it or whatever. i dont go to yahoo answers a lot so i just chose an answer without thinking. i didnt see the importance. once again im sorry, im just new to this.

Now now, you are at level 4 now. You need to get over this. You should have enough experience and have seen enough questions on this very same topic.
I don't like it either. But usually people asked that sort of question just for the sake of asking and they usually forget to come back to pick an answer. Or, who knows, may be they have moved or not online anymore for whatever reason. They might have had a fatal car accident. It DOES happen you know.
Just get over it and enjoy Y!A. It is for fun. Don't take it too seriously.

It ALWAYS happens to be cause I roam the Music section and that type of question gets asked alot. Oh well, it's just points, no big deal.

as for your question yep thats happened to me but ive also been 2nd and 3rd to answer and i suppose it just kinda confirms that the first answer was right.

I have never gone back to check my answers. As these things make one sad.
