Yes, it will work but it is expensive! Get a phone card while in Jamaica and use it with your phone. Don't buy a card in the U.S. and then expect to use it in Jamaica because it wont work. You can also contact T-Mobile before you go and have them send you the instructions to unlock your phone, but it is a hassle. Best bet is to get a phone card while in Jamaica. You can get one at pretty much any market and sometimes you will see people selling them on the street.

Go to the second link, below, select "Jamaica", and then view the line beneath it to see how much it will cost per minute.

Also, read the "Call while you roam overseas" part, as it contains important information.

P.S. Next time, please put the "detail" as the question!

"Montego Bay" is NOT a question!

"Will T-Mobile work in Jamaica?" is!

Maybe it will work. When we were there my Cingular phone would work buy my wife's (same plan) would not. Check the TMobile website and see what they have to say. With our plan it also mattered which model phone was being used. Oh, from the U.S. it was about $3 per minute.
