just some friendly advice...BE CAREFUL! My husband was on a strict low carb diet for about a year, then slowly went off the diet and gained about 20 more lbs than BEFORE he was on the diet. I have had him on "my" diet for about 2 months now and he has lost almost 20lbs. My diet consists of low sugar, smaller amounts, low calorie foods, fruits and veggies and some exercise when he can fit it in. It really did a number on his body, etc...he was also grumpier. BUT if you want to go on the diet...they have a lot of good cook books out there now. Or even if you go on food network's website they may have some recipes. They used have cooking show based on low carb eating. good luck!

Low salt means low sodium. I am no expert on dieting, but check this site out. It might help.
