No iv read the book and the book on the book. if you look hard enough you can make anything mean anything else. This is what happened with Nostradamus. A study was done in 1999 about the predictions for the millenium. They found the could come to the same conclutions with almost any book.

None of them really came true. I have seen his verses in "Centuries' mistransalated to make them apply to things that happen. When I found the originals, it is easy to see how badly mistransalated they are. I speak French and know much Latin. One is said to predict the 1666 Great London Fire. A book my brother has says one quatrain (4 line verse)speaks of the blood of the just being demanded in London and says 66 then. 66 is far from 1666, even if it said that. What it actually says is "vingt trois les sixes". Even an elementary knowledge of French allows one to know that really means "23 groups of 6's", not 66, and certainly not 1666. Just before Nostradamus wrote that verse, Catholic Queen Bloody Mary of England burned Protestants in groups of 6. Nostradamus had heard of 23 such groups having heir just blood shed. He was talking about things that happened just befotre he wrote the verse in 1555, not something that happened 111 years later. Some say he predicted Hitler but called him Hister. One quatrain mentions "Rhine et Hister". Ister or Hister were ancient names for the Danube river. When we see Rhine with it, two rivers are clearly meant. I can explain many more such quatrains that have been distorted by con men. One quatrain predicts dire things in the 7th month of 1999. Nothing like that happened. One fraud tried to change July 1999 to 9/11/01. How ridiculous can one be?

Mainly people who have read one book and decide to believe that author. Unfortunately, nearly everyone who claims to be an expert on the subject orders the quatrains and matches them to historical events differently, with wildly different interpretations of his supposed "prophecies." This makes it really difficult to see any particular effort as emerging from anything other than the preconceptions of a particular author.

I believe in it because it seems like he was real and i think it's kind of odd in my opinion to believe what an author's opinion means when all of these things happened he even said when his tomb would be opened, the author could have mean't something else as well who knows.

It appears they are coming true, although ...put it this way... say for example.. a code...of some sort... people see one similarity and they believe it was the truth. I have not read up on this but i did watch it on tv once. It does seem accurate.

I partly believe them, but don't know whether it's just a bit of coincidence or the same situation as your horoscopes, you can make them apply....
Either way its a bit freaky! lol
