Parrolets? I have experience with larger birds but am looking at these little birds. Feedback appreciated.?

I currently have conures, senegal, cauques.

I have read the background and done the research but want to hear from real people.

Level of interaction? Trust level/ hand fed required?

With other types of birds? (not caged together)

All my birds interact well. Can parrolets fill this requirement?

Thanks

Update:

By interaction, I don't mean talking. The larger birds talk enough thank you.

I mean hand play, perching...hand feeding.

Fun and games actually for me and the birds..

A friendly and not WILD bird.

Their level of interaction is pretty high! Don't let those little bodies fool you... they love attention and love to be around their human buddies. On the whole, they are fearless little birds. I socialized a parrotlet who would lunge at bigger birds (caiques, Pionus', etc...) if it felt threatened...But on the whole, they love to play, interact, and socialize....

They aren't stubborn birds, and from my experience, it hasn't took that long for me to get them used to being handled by different people.... As far as parrotlets filling this requirement, yes...I think so. If they are consistant with them and they are RAISED and handled around other birds, they should be fine.

    Good Luck

I have always had the bigger birds too. I have 6 parroletts. The first pair bred and sat on the eggs but they didn't hatch.

They are very cute especially when you hand feed them. They are the pocket parrot. But talking is for the bigger birds

They might be what you want and then they might not. I have blue males, greens split to yellow and a green split all the way with all colors.

Wish I had more to tell you but not that experienced with them myself.

they are just like having a Parrot. They are very social and can live a very long time.
