computer help?

You did the right thing but when you install Windows it formatted the harddrive.

When it install the graphic on your laptop, it didn't have the proper driver for the screen.

Look for a system recovery disc or a driver CD and install the drivers for the graphic card.

Go online to the vendor website that sold your laptop and find the graphic card driver according to the model.

You just reinstall windows xp.Now u have to install the drivers for graphics cards and other stuff you can get these drivers from a cd the company sent u with your computer or go on your computer company and download them from their or call them up for the cds.

alrighty...i say go to GeekSquad. they should be able to fix it and say if you should just get a new computer. oh and never ever ever get a mac. its all my school has and he have so many problems that we have to have a profestional computer guy work at the school to make sure its okay. and when a computer freezes from restarting from freezing, you know theres a problem.

u need to install all the drivers now .. theyr probably on a disk u got with it .. if not then download them from ur manufacturer support site burn them to a disk then load them on the machine ..

Since all your fiels have gone, try to do a complete format and everything will get back to normal...

just reinstall again...
