We are in L.A. for the first time, what should we do?
My friend and I are planning on doing the Chinese Grumman Theater, Beverly Hills, Venice, and Santa Monica? What else can we do at night? (We're not into the club scene).

The Beach's are alright....... Huntington Beach, Seal Beach & Venice Beach are fun. L.A. has GREAT theaters!!!!! The Queen Mary does dinners & they say it is hunted!!! You can also stay the night there. It is pretty cool. I lived in southern Ca. for 30yrs..... Glad to be out!!! Ok hope this helps!!!

Go to the Grove (an ourdoor mall) and the adjacent Farmer's Market - it's at Fairfax and 3rd in the West Hollywood area. There are shops, lots of food in the Farmer's Market and sometimes they have music at night. Also LACMA which is not far South of there on Wilshire sometimes lets you in free after 5.

and they are always more awesome at nite.
and its LA
just go walk through the entertainment district.
