What did u learn on your third driving lessons?

hello...i wanna know what u people learned on your third driving lessons? I had just had my third driving lesson, and we went on busy main streets and then did front-in park and back-in park (reverse parking)? Is my instructor taking it too fast?

Note: Before I began taking lessons, I was a very scared about driving and didn't take driving test or for that matter didn't get license for 10 years!! I am 24 right now!

SO...in your opinion,..is my instructor taking it too fast with me or he is confident enough to take it fast with me?

please advice...

thank u for no sarcastic comments!

It sounds to me like you have an anxiety problem. I guess the instructor wouldn't have you doing that, if he didn't feel you were ready.

Do you have a friend or someone who can take you out, for some driving practice in between your lessons? Maybe with more practice, you'll feel more comfortable driving.

Anyways I think you just have to do it. Otherwise you still won't have a license in another ten years.

The easy part of driving is keeping the car moving forward. The difficult bits are stopping, reversing and parking. Your instructor obviously feels its time for you to practise this manoevre - and everyone needs lots of practise.Whats the point of just learning to get the car going??

Your instructor has probably had many learners over time. Go with what he plans for the lessons.

I understand your fears, i've been there and much as i hated doing lots of parking and turns in the road i did and its now that i'm on my own driving that i really appreciate it.

Hey, atleast you got lessons. I had to pick the **** up from my parents. My driving lessons went like this: Step one, learn clutch, step two, learn everything else, step three: get permit. fun fun, no?
