Idea for a book!?

first off congratulation!!! What you need to do now is to get a pencil or a pen and start to write (or type it up). Do not think of publishing yet, just write and write. If you believe your book is good and you do want to publish it when your done then ask where should i publish this. Only do this when you have completed writing your story. Best of luck

Start writing. Only well known, seasoned authors can submit book idea because they have a good track record with their publisher and a fan base.

Just start writing and worry about the publishing later. Writing can be a long, hard (but fun) process so enjoy that part before you stress about getting it out there. Whenever I get wrapped up in thinking about getting my book published I usually hit a stand still in my writing because I over think it...once I stop worrying it comes a lot easier. Have fun :)

Look for a book that will help you write and get published. It'll walk you through the process. 'Self-editing for fiction writers' is good and I've also been advised to use 'from pitch to publication'.

Consider joining a creative writing group because evrybody helps each other and it keeps you disciplined at writing so you're less likely to give up.

When you do send your manuscript your advised to provide a cover letter to the publisher. If its a short story send to magazines too.
