Is this true or a bunch of hot air?
I heard that when you are putting a new program on your computer to save computer memory you should click Run and not Install.

Okay, first off, not all programs will allow you to just run the program directly off of the disk. however i guess there are a few that will. But when installing, there are typically a couple diffferent options when doing this. Normally 'compact' or 'full install'. If you choose the compact install, it usually just installs the registry information and critical programs on your computer and leaves the rest of it on the disc. This will save you quite a bit of HDD space, but then again, you will be asked to load the CD every time you wish to use the program or certain features of the program.

You must install the Application Software and DOS (Disk Operating System) based software like games small games don't need to installation, other mega games also first install then play hope the question answer is done.

its pretty much the same thing, or do you mean save or run? advantage to saving it, that you can scan it first, and after you install, you can normally delete the install file. sometime when you choose run, it runs from the web site other times it installs the installer package. depends on what and from who.
