How often should christains go to the church?

Is this compulsory for them to visit church by their religion, or its just a choice to go or not to go and it does not make any difference even if they don't go at all??Like in islam prayers are highly valued if offered in mosques and people are encouraged by our religion to go to mosque...! actualy i went to a city a week back and i was so impressed by the number of churches there and those were so beautifuly built..i guess the number of churches were more than required for the population there ..!but still ...so was thinking how often do people visit those beautifuly built chruches..!how much importance a church hold in christains's lives and how much they honor it?

Going to Church is a big part of fellowship we are told to forsake not the assembly and when the Assembly assembles then you should go, read this article and see if it helps, I thought it was good and gives good understanding....

A Christian should see church service as a honor ,privilege and opportunity to come together with other believers humbly to worship and celebrate our Lord and to serve in ministry, and build relationships with others. Gods called us to preach the Gospel and make disciples of all nations. To reach our family's, community's and city's for hHis honor and glory and to advance his kingdom. This task is bigger than ourselves, that why its important believers (the church) to come together. It's not about what the church can do for me me, but how can I make myself available to The Lord and do my part in His church. Honestly to keep it real alot of people don't like going to church often cause they want to do their own thing their own way. No accountability or commitment.

Varies widely depending upon the denomination. Some churches are built intentionally to be non-ornate because God is everywhere, not just in a particular building. God is given glory by obedience, not by building a fancy structure. Honor is given to God with pure thoughts, pure heart, and pure deeds. The "church" is the people who are followers of Christ, not a building. The followers, if truly Bible Christians, will follow the commandments, among them, "pray without ceasing" and "thou shalt not forsake the assembling of the saints."

I don't like any church that tells me when and how often I am supposed to go to church. I think I can believe in God and not ever set foot in a church. Although churches are beautiful, I don't like the hypocricy and judgement from the people that attend the churches in most organized religions.

I would say that for most Christians, they kind of see "Going to Church" as a commandment, even though its not really. The real devote Christians usually go to church multiple times a week. The less devote tend to go for Christmas and Easter.

Salaam Roshni - I'm a Christian under that branch I'm a Catholic however, I don't go to church every Sunday. However, I know many modern muslims that don't go to their mosques also. Other than that, I'm not much a religous person nor do I keep up with religon...All I know there is one God but, Allah.(God)

I believe I go to church, that Jesus rebuild in three days as He told the Pharisees He would, every time I think of God and praise His name in my mind and heart.

Just as we are to pray continuously in spirit we can be in connection to God inspirit and action by living out God's principles.

I go to a actual church of God almost every Sunday. I will miss from time to time as I feel convicted that God knows what our family needs. Just as we are to not take communion when we feel that we are not holding the proper mindset to take it for it's importance of what it means. This is not a bad thing , but a good thing, for it adds to the respect we hold for such a sacrament. Even the Jews in the day of old lost sincerity of sacrifices and did out of obligation and not true repentance. Praise Jesus for the last perfect sacrifice.

Hope you understand my point of view.

Peace, Love and Laughter to you.

I am Catholic, so I have to go to church every Sunday and Holy Day, or else it is a sin. Honestly, it is not that important to me. I only do it, because I am Confirmed, and I don't want to sin. I think Christians should still go to church every week, but you should want to go. You shouldn't go for fear of consequence.

never it's pagan. I don't need a church to talk to god and it depends on your definition of church a building or the people in it
