Why don't you stop at your local library and check out a home vet for dogs book and read up on the things that might affect your dog? You can learn about fleas, about worms, and maybe even about growling stomachs.

It sounds like indigestion, just like people dogs stomach make noises when they digest food or are feeling ill. I fail to see how fleas will make a dogs stomach growl. Have you checked her stool for worms? Sometimes dogs will get worms and this will make their stomach growl. I would suggest finding a different vet and possibly taking in a stool sample for him to check out. In the sample he can find out if there are worms present or what is bothering her stomach. Sometimes as dogs age they get ulcers and other stomach ailments just as humans do. It can be something she eats that makes her stomach noisy or it can be gas. I would suggest having a work up done on her stomach and intestines from your vet. This could be more than a case of worms or fleas. It could be a long term health issue since it keeps returning.

As for the fleas and tapeworm - what treatment is she on? Frontline, Advantage an Revolution are all great for fleas, but none kill tapeworm, you need a complete veterinary wormer for those, like Drontal or Milbemax.
