We could get a mime, or a mime troup, to do a 'Silent Service' (funeral without words) in his honor.
Freshbliss and others: When the person who died was a world famous comedic entertainer, it is in perfect taste to treat thier passing with humor. It is the highest honor we can give to this great entertainer; to send him off with a good laugh.
His chosen purpose in life was to make people smile and laugh. I do not think he would want us to cry now. Rather, we should celebrate life and know that he has earned his place in Heaven for an exclusive, command performance for the Celestial Host.
Godspeed, Marcel... and, thanks for all the smiles. :)

I hate mimes, and clowns of all stripes, but he was a wonderful performer. I'm sure mimes the world over will miss him.
Not me though.

That was already done. A moment of screaming. I agree, never good to make fun of those who have gone before us.

He was actually quite an activist on human rights, having survived the Holocaust - spoke beautifully, wrote even more eloquently.
Making fun of the dead is never funny.
