Go to your 360 page at http://360.yahoo.com/ , (You need to be 13 or over and have a 360 site.)and upload any .jpg picture from a folder on your hard drive or elsewhere, mark it as primary, then go to "My Profile" , "Edit My Info" in Answers. and select the picture, Set as primary, Save.

select the photo from a folder in your hard drive and click on it/Save/Edit Personal Photos/Set as primary/Save.

Also if you are using Yahoo Messenger 8.1.0.249 , you can open an Instant Message box with anyone, then go to the top and click on VIEW then click on MY DISPLAY/ IMAGE OPTIONS, then click on CHOOSE A PICTURE. It will then permit you to choose from the pictures on your computer. If you have none on your hard drive, it offers an avitar icon you can use. You can use the same steps when you want to change the picture. Just the last step would be change my picture.

At the top right of your Avatar Home Page there should be a link that says "preferences", if you click there, you should be taken to a page that will allow you to change the GENDER of your avatar.= http://avatar.yahoo.com/ + http://360.yahoo.com./

Rignt click on the pic. click on "Save picture as", in "save as type" drop down box menu select .jpg, then in top drop down menu select the folder on your hard drive u want to save it to, then click on, then click on "save".

If .jpg is not one of the seletions the drop down menu gives you, then just select what ever it gives you, then after you download it, use the free program "Paint" that comes with windows to convert the pic from whatever it is to .jpg.

All i want for Christmas is my 2 front tooth ( I had an twist of destiny years in the past and the front have porcelin caps that would desire to get replaced in approximately 2 months whilst i will have stored adequate money to replace them!)

go to edit profile then browse (and the photos should be first on the computer!!!)

then find them from browse and click upload

and walaa you have your new profile avatar
