The Buckeyes accept your aplogy Trojan fan?

For constantly bashing their (supposed) easy schedule, while you are losing to a 40 point dog at home. (Not to mention last years loss to UCLA.)

This goes for all you other pretenders who have lost to unranked / heavy underdogs this year.

Memo...To get to the BCS title game, you have to beat the teams you are supposed to.

    Clone1973,

I agree that bashers have a way of ruining it for people who have a respect and appreciate the talents/coaching/etc on other teams. I also agree with the first responder to your question/point on USC/OHIO STATE thoughts. I for one have been and continue to be impressed with both FLA and LSU.

However, your point here also contains a bias that contradicts your opening statement. The win by Stanford was handed to them with the 5 turnovers, and even then they still had to "pull it out" in the final minute. End result? USC loses by "1" point, not a touchdown, not a field goal. Like FLA last week I anticipate that USC will drop down to #9, will still be in some form of a BCS bowl game (though clearly not the title game unless unforseen things occur TO ALL of the good teams out there still unbeaten).

I don't think USC is a "pretender" and yes they should have won that game yesterday. Best of luck with your Buckeyes, the map on the top 10 is once again reconfigured.

NO team is immune to the upset bug that is going around this season, not a single one.

But it still makes me laugh, how USC is all hyped up at the beginning of every year and they can't even make it through the PAC-10 schedule. Just imagine if they had to play a schedule as tough as the SEC.

But anyway... Coach Tressel had BETTER have the Buckeyes fired up for the Kent State game next saturday. Thank God the "Ohio Cup" portion of OSU's schedule is almost over. It was originally going to be only Akron and Kent, but when that new rule was initiated last year that all D1-A teams must play 12 games, that left Ohio State scrambling to find a team to schedule for the 12th. (Keep in mind that for many teams, the opponents are determined 3-4 years in advanced). So plans for OSU to play both akron and kent had been in place since 2003 or so...

I live in Ohio and grew up with the Buckeyes. I went to USC and rooted for USC too. Now they're my 2 favorite teams. I would never bash on Ohio State. I'll admit that USC's last 3 losses have been quite embarrassing. I will always love these 2 teams. I am sorry if some bandwagon USC fans have bashed on Ohio State. Every team has fans like that and every team has die hard respective fans.

I'm disappointed that USC lost. The Bucks have wanted a piece of USC since the 2005-2006 season (when Texas beat USC). Now that USC lost last night, we don't have much of a chance of killing them in a National Title match.

As an Ohio State fan you know that there is really only one truly national title game and that is OSU vs. Michigan - all other games mean nothing.
