Have you ever heard of Congressman Ron Paul?`?
I have never liked ANY politician, but given the state of our country as it is now, I believe that Ron Paul is the ONLY presidential candidate with the integrity, will, and independence to veer us off our course of global imperialism and subsequent self destruction.
If you have not heard of him, please - Just watch him speak and read some of his stances on the relevant issues. He is NOT your average politician - He is unapproachable by special interests because his sole concern is the good of the nation and it's people, and his voting record backs up his stance on Constitutional support 100%.

I wish I wouldn't.
But indeed I have been watching that
mendacious flipflop pinnocchio nose
in decades. He is a racist and sexist
onto that religiously lunatic. German
neonazis support him big time as well
the pertinent Aryan brotherhoods in USA.

I hadn't really heard of him until this year. By what I've seen and read I'm very impressed. I want to support someone who will govern on principles, especially those principles found in the constitution. Most of our representatives seem to vote the party line and ignore the constitution. I believe that's a big reason why we're in the mess we're in. From what I can see, Ron Paul is the man we need to support.

Yes, mostly here. I will not vote for him under any circumstances!
He wants to eliminate the IRS, CIA, FBI, etc.. Doesn't mention what will be in place of these departments.
Supporters claim that he is the "only hope to beat Hillary." THAT'S A LIE! They say he will win in November. Another lie since he won't even get the nomination with 1% of the vote.
They claim that he appeals to Democrats. SORRY, NOT A CHANCE! He doesn't even appeal to most Republicans, let alone the socialist Democrats!
Paul supports MUST face reallity. We will never call him President Paul.

I have heard of him, and know that he has NEVER accomplished anything in his entire career. Now that has to really take some skill. Please, go on the THOMAS database and look at the laws that he has proposed. None of them, besides inane ones like naming a portion of highway after a war hero, have passed.
If he were the president, he would keep proposing laws that would NEVER get past committee, would veto everything, and would make our country screech to a halt. So, if you want NOTHING to happen for the next four years, vote Ron Paul.

Real voters don't take him seriously because they know that he's all talk & no action. The reason special interests don't approach him is because they know he can't accomplish anything. But if he takes votes away from Giuliani, that's OK with me.

Here's why I'm voting for Ron Paul. This is a speech he gave in front of Congress on February 2, 2000. That's right 2000. Before 9/11/2001. If you read it, you will see that this man has integrity and has not wavered in his positions like so many others that are running for President. Please read this and make yourself aware.

I've heard of him, but unfortunately, I have never heard or seen him. Additionally, he has the unfortunate position to have a name all too similar to the drag queen RuPaul. The first several times I heard his mane, I thought they were talking about that freak. He'd probably be further in the polls if he had a different name.

Ron Paul is favored by many Yahoo Answerers because of his excellent views on criticial issues.
