lynyrd skynyrd plane crash photos/articles/video....?

I'm looking for photos, video, news articles, etc. of the lynyrd skynyrd plane crash of '77. Anyone know where to find them? I'm planning on making a video for the 30th anniversary of the crash. I tried searching yahoo but i can't find anything I'm looking for.

There used to be some online but most have been removed. Truly a sad event. Their my favorite band. Here is what I can turn up

    a couple here:

    http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www....

    Wreckage: http://www.angelfire.com/music5/archives/skyncrash...

    http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www....

If you go on facebook and join the group :Ronnie Van Zant (1948-1977) There is a picture of the band in front of the plane that I posted. I'm not sure where I got it.

Also, use the site lynyrd skynyrd dixie: http://lynyrdskynyrddixie.com/forums/viewtopic.php...

    Leon and Dean: http://www.artimuspyle.com/Leon_Dean__Plane.jpg

Get the book "Lynyrd Skynyrd: Remembering the Freebirds of Southern Rock" by Gene Odom for a good crash account.

Sorry I can't turn up more for you. I've seen many other pictures of the wreckage but they simply aren't online anymore. A tip is to turn of your safe content filters on google and other sites when searching.

Apparently, there was a Mark Howard on the plane. Whether it's the guy you know, who knows. This is what I found on a Lynyrd Skynyrd trivia site. What was painted on the nose of the Lynyrd Skynyrd tour plane that crashed in Mississippi at 7pm on October 20th, 1977, killing lead vocalist Ronnie Van Zant, guitarist Steve Gaines, back-up singer Cassie Gaines, tour manager Dean Kilpatrick, pilot John Gray, and pilot Walter McClary? Lynyrd Skynyrd. The survivors: Gary Rossington [guitar], Billy Powell [keyboards], Leslie Hawkins [vocals], JoJo Billingsley [vocals], Artimus Pyle [drums]; the Lynyrd Skynyrd road crew of James Brace, Ron Eckerman, Kevin Elson, Mark Frank, Mark Howard, Clayton Johnson, Don Kretzschman, Steve lawler, Craig Reed, Paul Welch, and Bill Sykes [t.v. crew]! Allen Collins [guitar] survived only to die too young on Jan. 23, 1990! Leon Wilkeson [bass] survived, only to die too young on July 27, 2001! Fly Free Bird!

thats so random i was just thinking that someone needs to make a video (or better yet, a whole MOVIE) about the band and the crash... i dont think much info in the form of pics and stuff exists because some of the members lived, so out of respect i think they kept it pretty private. but if you do find something, GO FOR IT! it'd be such an interesting video. especially that guy that survived the crash, walked away to try and find help, and then got SHOT! lol id be so pissed.. good luck!

Good luck, I do not believe many of the pictures or videos were released out of respect of the band members, those who died and those who survived. Rather than using those pictures, attempt to find some of the members before the crash, and try to show a little respect.

    Hi,

You can download Adobe Falsh Player here http://bitly.com/1p3PGjM

If Youtube or Facebook videos don't work anymore or if the screen is black you need to install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player.
