web browser problem (opera)?
My problem is that Opera seem to have some problems with Java apps, which I need for a couple web sites. The Java apps simply won't load, even though Java is enabled and the plugin is installed. Has anyone encountered a similiar problem? And perhaps a solution?
And if you're gonna answer Get Firefox then please don't answer at all. I've tried Firefox, and it was so incredibly SLOW and it used so much memory compared to Opera that I almost went insane when surfing the web, and I just can't live without speech recognition and mouse movements and all that good stuff Opera has..

Opera has alot of website compatibility issues hence it is advisable to use another browser for certain sites that has Java apps. You can use IE or Avant browser (which uses the same engine as IE but with more functions).
I also use Opera and has the same problem as you which is why i usually open IE as well in case I need to access certain websites.
I agree Opera is great and I love it. Love the mail client function. As for mouse movements, there are several other browser out there with this function as well.

arms down, that's Firefox. i'm no longer fullyyt confident what you mean via the plug ins difficulty, that's something you're able to be able to desire to do with any browser, some only save it in the back of the curtain somewhat. That, and IE does have diverse that stuff on board already. Anyhoo...Firefox is Open Sourced. That on my own gets severe marks. particularly of a collection of 10 or 20 builders, you have hundreds. upload ons, subject concerns...all that.. you won't be able to triumph over it. Chrome is respectable for a beta browser. Skins and what no longer, properly i do no longer likely have lots use for em, yet Chrome lacks diverse good factors. IE 8 is in Beta, and is a surprisingly respectable piece of application. The browser industry quite compelled MS to up its game in this launch, and quit arising 0.5-compliant application that drives builders loopy. As a cyber web developer, i could no longer be greater grateful for that.

Yes, Opera is good. Might be, a plugin is not functioning. Try re-installing it. OR Try re-installing Opera
