Anyone else having problems with Yahoo Messenger?
Often it just stops responding suddenly after working fine for a while. Then when new IM's pop up, there is no readable text. Its getting very frustrating using Yahoo Messenger. I have to stop Messenger, then restart it to start seeing text again. This goes on over and over again. It seems to be at least every half hour or so.
I've gotten to start responding again, but just signing out of Messenger, closing it. Waiting a minute or so, then restart it, then log back into Messenger.
But, it doesn't last very long, less than 30 minutes or so, then it does the same thing again.

For me this started around june. It got worse in July. In August I got a new notebook but problems continued. It seems each month it gets a lil worse, problems happen a lil more often. I wonder if it has to do with version 8 .

I have been having the same problem for about two weeks. It seems to be completely at random when it decides to do this. The only way I've been able to get it to work again correctly is if I close out of messenger and restart my computer. If there is something better, please tell me!

OMG I am having the same problem! It's kind of nice to know I'm not alone. The only thing that helps is to close everything down and reboot the computer. It happens to me on my desktop and laptop. Something that also tips me off that it's going to happen soon is that when photo sharing, the pictures I'm sent show up tiny. I mean like 1cm x 1cm. I'm SUPER annoyed with it and hope it is fixed soon.

Many users are having problems with the messenger and mail etc. Yahoo is installing new programs and hopes to have it fixed soon.
