washing machine started wrapping clothes around centre?
This has only started the last ~ 4 times. Prior to that worked fine and only had the normal out of balance ocassionally. It is a Simpson espirit 450 and I have had it for around 5 years. Only two retired adults to wash for so I only wash maybe once or twice a week.
It also no Longer filters the fluff into the little basket. I have cleaned everything. I found the centre agitator is loose and of course despite having made the tool to remove it I can't find the right size socket! of course.
so the question is - anyone have any ideas as to why the machine has suddenly started wrapping the clothes?
I have tried loads of small things combined with eg sheets; changed amount of clothes; all our material is natural fibres - no synthetics.
the combination of both the wrapping and the non filtering are weird that they happened at the same time

Possibly you are over loading and causing it to come unbalanced. Try adding less clothes...

Tangling:-
* Don’t wash with too much water.
* Don’t wrap the clothes around the agitator.
* Don’t wash colourfast and non-colourfast clothes together.
* Don’t wash just bedsheets or towels – include small garments in the load.
* Alternate the loading sequence with large and small garments.
* Don’t underload or overload the washer.
Hope this is of help.
Good Luck!!
