I have a 2000 Toyota Tacoma & I hear a bumping noise under the front drivers side.?

I know its not the tires. Also my steering wheel squeaks when I turn it. Maybe related?? Any help?

Update:

My mechanic told me it could be the tire rod end. Sound right?

Although I don't know much about the anatomy

of your particular car, noises in this area are

usually related to the exhaust system, are not

serious and can be inexpensively adjusted to

    achieve near silence.
